beach getaway!
Imagine waking up early in the morning and glancing out of your floor-to-ceiling windows, your eyes are met with the above sight. The beach was just at our doorstep! Actually we could just jump down from our balcony and we'll touch the sand already. It was also quiet, and private - all you could hope for on a romantic getaway!
The boyfriend and I wasted no time dipping into the water, but there were many unseen dangers - there were quite a number of slippery rocks and the current was rather strong too. The waters appear calm on the surface, but tt was misleading!
Okay I didn't take any other pics of the place, cos I was busy enjoying myself. But the boyfriend suffered a gash on his tiny toe and tt basically ruined any other water activities. Oh well. But we settled for a poolside late lunch and a teppanyaki dinner, so, all in all, still great!
Most of the pictures below were taken on the ferry ride home, when I was bored and decided we needed more peektures together!
See - I made the boyfriend a pout-er too! Hee these 2 are my favourite pics!
Chong giving me the look because I had gone over to the row of seats in front of us to take this pic of him! The ladies sitting on tt row weren't shocked - so I have no idea why the boyfriend was giving me this look! Hah.
Then it was my turn to give him my look - he says this is how I look whenever I get into a pissy-pissy mood. But I don't think I look so un-scary when I'm pissed; I think this is just the look I give him when I'm annoyed. You wldn't want to see how I really look when I'm really pissed!
Final shot of the day! The boyfriend giving me a kiss and it being captured on camera! [okie fine, it was a posed shot]
I absolutely love staying out with the boyfriend - the closeness & intimacy of a shared space; being hugged to sleep and waking up still being hugged; and just the daily routine of going abt life together with each other. Unforts such opportunities don't come too often, so all the more they're treasured when we get to experience it.
And now we're at the planning stage of our year-end holiday! (= Chong will be off to Brunei again this Nov, but at least when he's back, we can go on a holiday together!
