let's keep it brief

Am too lazy/tired to blog properly, so here's a quick summary of the going-ons since the last update:

- the boyfriend asked me out for lunch after the last blog post, and everything is alright again! (=

- met up with da-jie & er-jie and receiving yummy dinner + dessert treats from da-jie! Cabbed home from town as well too. Ahh.. the perks of being employed - cabbing ard and reaching home in super fast time!

- went super shopping on the last day of GSS and bought
(i) a pair of white shoes [my colour of preference never changes. hah]
(ii) pinafore + lingerie using the JL voucher daddy gave me!
(iii) new bag from Tangs
(iv) Guess? inspired watch
(v) whitening toothpaste
Okay I know the last one was a bit, erm, irrelevant, but still! I spent so much I am not shopping till my next pay cheque comes in! [okay, I've done some online shopping since then, so now I'm stopping. as of once this post is published!]

- had lots + lots of talks/briefings at n.i.e.; this being the first week of sch. Am considered a "student teacher" now. *hmm*

- bonding with darling van, who kept me company and we bitched + gossiped abt pple we don't like. Hah!

- 8th month anniversary with the boyfriend, who surprised me with the 3D Hallo-Kitty puzzle globe + a very sweet handmade card. Really could see tt he put in the effort to do smthg nice after what transpired the entire week. Can't wait for the 1-year anniversary to come! Hee (=

- met up with the 38 gang and seeing Candice after so long (she wasn't present at the last dinner we had. hrm) Although it was a short 3 hr dinner + chat, it felt good to catch up, bitch and laugh with the girls after so long. No pics tho!

- booked the weekend getaway! Yay I am getting out of S'pore and going on holiday for 3 whole days! Yippee and I can't wait for 3rd Aug to come!

- watched 2 movies in the space of 2 days with Chong; all in the comfort of home! Hee

Whoa. Scrolling up it seems tt alot has happened in the past week and a half. Hah I feel like a social butterfly sometimes, though the boyfriend is the one I'm socialising with most often. Hee. This coming week "lessons" start, and I'm supposed to meet up with Van and Andrea for dinner on one of the days too. Plus the weekend getaway is coming soon!

Though there are ups and downs in life (mine as well!), one should always reflect, and count thy blessings (:
