neverending waterdrops
I can't believe it has rained, non-stop, for the past 24 hours. Where does all this rain come from, anyway?
I'm in a whiny mood - I usually adore rainy days when I'm indoors and snuggled under my blanket; but today, the rain caused Chong's flight to be cancelled. And there's a high possibilty tt if this bad weather continues, his arrival back home will be indefinitely postponed.
I want my boyfriend back home in Singapore with me! And not somewhere out of the country and out of my reach, physically. [though not emotionally;but still, nothing beats having your boyfriend physically around right?]
Today was an impromptu outing with Gerald and KC - I'm finally meeting Gerald after knowing him for about 3 mths. I shall give him credit for picking me up at my place and sending me home as well, in his Grand Vitara! [although he got lost in jurong and was so late fetching me] Do you know tt's one of the cars I'm considering getting in future? Haha I like SUVs in general, cos big cars just make me feel powerful. But tt wld be too expensive a choice for a first car, so I shall settle for a Jimny instead. Heh. Quite cool to be driven around so tt I could avoid being caught in the rain at all. Sweet.
Anyway, first impressions were pretty much accurate on my part; and he didn't fail to disappoint when we talked about being a "nice jerk" - what an oxymoron. The outing was rather interesting, since I was out with two guys who are quite extreme opposites of each other in terms of personality and value systems. Quite enjoyed the conversations I had with Gerald while we were both in his car, turns out tt we cld talk serious issues instead of crap all the time. (:
*sigh* rain, rain, please go away and let the sun come out again, so that Chong will be able to fly home later this morning. I can't believe it has been 24 days - time seems to both crawl and fly past at the same time.
But Xmas won't be xmas without my loved ones beside me. Hrmph.
