temporary separation

The boyfriend is going back to his hometown for 3 days to celebrate CNY with his extended family.

Even though it'll only be 3 days, somehow I know I'm going to miss him already.

When he's not around, there's no one to cheer me up or make me happy.
When he's not around, there's no one to whine to or make things better.
When he's not around, there's no nightly talks or sweet stolen kisses.

There are times when I wish I wasn't so dependent on him in order to be happy; but it's really hard to pull yourself away once you're at this stage.

I will miss him, but as long as he comes back safe and sound back to me, I'm content (:

On a side note, I went for a mani + pedi today, and painted 10 ladybirds on my fingers. Hah. Chong was giving me the look when he saw it.. and asked me of ALL things, why ladybirds? Cos they're cute! Haha.
