checking back

Just got home from the Genting/KL trip a few hours ago - and I've hardly enough time to unpack, wash my clothes, get online to clear mails and get my dose of online shopping tt I've been missing for the past 5 days.

110 hours with the boyfriend [yes, I counted] can be both a dream and a killer. A dream cos you get to spend 24hours, 5 days with the boyfriend (which I doubt you can do in real life and when not on a holiday, unless you're cohabitating); but also a killer cos now you've exposed who you really are and how you can really be.

Sometimes its tiring to always talk in a nice, patient manner to the boyfriend to please unpack stuff you've bought, instead of in a naggy tone [which I think, the latter will be smthg tt will come more naturally to me]. It can get a little frustrating at times too. But this is what real life with a partner is all about, and if you can't survive the 24/5, I don't see how you can survive a lifetime.

And the good news? Okie I think I can live with being nice and sweet to Chong, cos he's always so nice and sweet to me! Like tucking me in for a nap, entertaining my every whim, covering my legs with his jacket cos I was feeling cold, feeding and loving me, making me hot tea and hugging me close when I've got a tummyache. [the list goes on].. all these actions make me realize, hey, its worthwhile after all, the effort you put in to be nice.

And most importantly, I've learnt from my past mistakes.

*smiles* will post pictures of trips and lunch with grandma up soon!
