cupcake delights and babies
There were 12 chocolate cupcakes in all - the two cupcakes you see on the extreme right were products of my attempt to add colourful chocolate rice on top as a sort of design, but they kept not-sticking and falling to the sides!
Look at my very perfect-looking cupcake! Well, it looks so pretty but unforts, it doesn't taste so pretty. Hah! Not tt it was horrible to eat, but I think it was slightly too thick and needed more sugar. Daddy gave me a 5/10; Chong gave me 7/10; but my brother's girlfriend thinks tt its quite nice! So I guess, for a first attempt, it went rather well. Hee
Anyway I baked my cupcakes for the boyfriend, because it was our 5th month together! It was a surprise though, and I got a hug and a kiss after I presented my cupcakes to him! Haha. He didn't know I was gg to do smthg, and he gave me a bar of Kit Kat Chunky [since its one of the few rare chocolates tt I like]; only to be presented with my cupcakes! They weren't an easy feat to bake ok! [but I shall spare myself the embarrassment to tell you of what happened while baking]
As you can already tell, I'm very *proud* of myself for baking the cupcakes! Oui, I had a 9am paper the next day and I spent my afternoon baking - so you can see the effort I placed in them! (:
On an aside, I've been noticing quite a number of babies popping up in places tt I frequent. I mean, not tt babies aren't a common sight - but what's weird is tt I've been noticing them + looking at them + admiring them. And you know how annoying I find kids and wailing babies - BUT *horrors of horrors*, I actually find them rather cute nowadays.
And the scariest thing? I feel like having a baby of my own to carry too.
Oh gosh. I am way too young for my maternal instincts [if I had any, in the first place] to flare up.
And boyfriend, if you're reading this post, relax, I'm not telling you I want a baby like now, its just these recent thoughts have left me, to say the least, rather baffled. Hrm.
