missing seminars & weekend fun!

Haven't been in here for quite a while but before I start to procrastinate abt blogging the way I do abt my readings, I thought I'd better get down to write a post. Or before the deadlines start piling up in March.

Just came back from a haircut at the usual salon and guess what? I now have bangs! Hah. My last hairstylist told me tt bangs were impossible for me due to the, I quote, "short distance between my ear and the front of my head", unquote. Apparently he thought wrong - because my new stylist could give me bangs! So its either (i) my new stylist can perform the impossible; or (ii) my previous stylist was wrong. I lay my bets on the latter.

No one has seen my new look yet, and I think I do look somewhat different. Luckily I don't look anything tut; else I think I might just forego my weekend plans and stay at home. I'd rather coop up safe at home than be laughed at by Chong's friends for looking tut. Hah.

Shall await the verdict on the new look from everyone before posting any pics here. But regardless of what anyone thinks, methinks I look different, in a good way.

[update: daddy just saw me and he says it looks nice! Hah I made him close his eyes when he stepped into the house so as to give him a surprise. Daddy says I look like a doll!]

Skipped yesterday's morning class and that's a first after a long time; and it feels good to be able to sleep till 9am while everyone else is at seminar. Haha. Okie lah I was suffering from cramps [which was the main reason] but the overriding factor was the cold morning that made me feel lazy and want to snuggle under the blankets.

Its the last semester - no more skipping classes after this, so must take the chance when I still have it. Hah!

Am very much looking forward to my chalet this weekend - and will be skipping the 7-10pm lecture on Friday evening as well. Wow. Missing 2 seminars in a week, tt's a record. This chalet will be my getaway with the boyfriend; and there'll be this huge bbq on saturday night with his friends and da-jie+er-jie+their boyfriends so it promises to be fun! Had asked the 38 gang but then apparently they think its weird to mix 2 grps of pple together for a bbq. *shrugs* oh well. At least I asked. Hah.

This weekend is going to be pretty fun, I can tell already. Alone time with Chong, bbq, late nights and my ultimate favourite: mahjong! (=

Alright I have to go change before meeting the boyfriend to go collect my new contact lens and perhaps squeeze in a movie. Out!
