fathers' day dinner!
Pulled the disappearing act once again, but I am back to post photos [narcisstic ones, tt's not a wonder] of what went on during our Fathers' Day dinner held at Sakura. And speaking of Sakura, there was so much food tt no one could possibly taste a piece of everything. Really.
Lets start with the main couple of the day: daddy & mummy!
This is them in the "normal" standard couple pose tt you see everywhere when you take a male and a female who's romantically involved and ask them to smile for a picture. But I managed to capture a side of them tt not everyone's parents are willing to let their children glimpse... the image tt everyone has an inner child!
Three-quarters into the dinner, when we were sufficiently satisfied with our food, I whipped out my digicam [the one the Boyfriend bought for my 21st!] and announced tt everyone had better cooperate because I wanted to take photos! So we different themes for the photos: (i) the standard smiling one; (ii) the kawaii take and (iii) the act cool take.Mummy was sporting abt doing the kawaii take; perhaps cos my brother and I had already broken the kawaii-ice by posing in silly pictures... here they are!

Initially daddy wasn't keen on acting kawaii - think he thought it wldn't gel with his image of being a man and a father; but mummy kept cajoling him till he gave in! And there you have it - a kawaii pic of my parents!
Then there were the act cool pics [shant show all, just one so you'll get the idea]
And now its time for the nice pics with everyone smiling! Hee. All in all it was a great dinner and I had a good time with my family. Went shopping for a short while after tt and managed to buy 2 sunglasses [since I'm always breaking them - have broke two so far!] together with a coffee machine. *happie!* (:post-script: I seem to have problems uploading the pics! Blogger is not being cooperative. Hrmph!!
