interviews and post-that

Went for both the MOE and speech therapy interviews yesterday; and both took an average of just fifteen minutes. Seriously, the fuss I take to dress up appropriately, and they only gave me fifteen mins of their time. Bah. Don't want to be too hopeful about either one of them; but NUH is only taking in 2 interns, out of the 5 tt they interviewed - which translates to a 40% success rate [which is less than half!] Wld of course really want to get tt, but who doesn't?

On another note, I met Jason and Melyvn at the MOE interview room, together with this yr4 guy, and the funny thing was tt even though we've never spoken a word to each other before, Jason and Melyvn included me in their conversation. [oh they're already friends] Funny how a common topic like clinching a job can be a conversation starter. But its a good thing though, at least now I know they recognise me as an elang major as well. Hrm.

Post-interviews, Von and I headed back to JE for lunch and shopping...and guess what, I bought my very first pair of pants in more than a year. The last time I bought pants was when I needed black formal pants for work; and I'm sure everyone knows by now that the ratio of pants to skirts in my wardrobe is 4:25 [with the 4 pairs of non-skirts being totally under-utilized] But finally I found this pair of pants tt at least looks flattering on me and makes me look taller too. So I bought it. Now lets hope I really wear it.

I haven't watched any of my korean drama in 3 days, and there's this little itch to break the record. Hrm. I might just watch one later, given how I've been at my readings since 11 this morning.
