its a happie day!
Today was one of those days when everything in life seemed beautiful and you're content with the way of life you're living. I had a chance to whip up a meal for the Boyfriend during lunch! Heh but of course it was pre-planned; I doubt I'm those who can throw a meal together in an hour's notice - unless the meal was one of instant noodles and fried eggs?
Anyway today's lunch consisted of:
- appetiser: fried dumplings (guo-tie)
- main course: macaroni soup with fishballs, cai xin & tau pok
- finger food: chicken nuggets, chicken franks
- dessert: chocolate cheesecake
Hee. A lot of food I think. Anyway I realise I cannot go grocery shopping alone - I tend to buy too much food. The nuggets, dumplings and cheesecake were all extras tt I threw into my ntuc basket and then justified these purchases with a "hmm..I think the Boyfriend will love this if I prepare it!"; and naturally, the Boyfriend was quite amazed at the amount of food I managed to prepare in an hour :)
[at this juncture I must say how very lucky my brother is - he always gets to enjoy the same meals tt I prepare specially for the Boyfriend!]
And after the very satisfying and fulfilling meal, we settled down to prepare the 4-page cheat sheet for the MnO paper; and it being my first time trying to do a cheat-sheet, I realize how lucky I am tt most of my papers are open-book [for e lang ones anyway]. At least there is no need for me to waste precious hours figuring what are the impt points/theories tt I shld include/exclude from a limited number of pages allowed! Really. tsk. I do quite pity students who have to do this every semester - it is really quite a headache.
And yes, the Boyfriend usually has to prepare like, 4 of such cheat-sheets for his Engin exams. haha -evil laugh-
There are some unpleasant things tt have happened recently with friends and project mates, but I shall not dwell on it here as this is supposed to be a happy post! :)
Happy studying to all! [9 days more -die!-]
