Random updates!

I've been on a (rather) crazy shopping spree since the last time. I'm so not going to look forward to when my bills come (which will be soon, I suspect). The festive season is so not good for the wallet - when you think of your bonus, you think of spending it! Hah not to say my bonus this year is fantastic, but at least I think it'll be enough to cover my taipei trip and all my xmas shopping!

Something super surprising - I bought jeans! Hah those who know me knows tt I never wear jeans if I can help it; and I've survived the past 2 years without stepping into a pair. I'm always in skirts or dresses. But I had to buy one for the taipei trip, since it'd be cold and I bet I'll freeze in my skirts and dresses if I insist on going without-pants there. So I've acquired a pair of jeans, and numerous opaque black leggings to keep me warm; and I'm going to *try* to shop for another pair of black skinnys this weekend! See the amount of damange tt will do to my wallet? Tsk.

And I've gone and coloured my hair again! This time it's a dark brown with red highlights. I actually wanted smthg radical - like a red base and blonde highlights, but the stylist advised me against it. Apparently the colour red has to be contrasted with a dark colour in order to really stand out; so I just went with his suggestion of dark brown and layers of red highlights. It turned out pretty nice, though not radical enough! Hah.

Another thing was I asked him to curl my hair using the curling tongs, because I wanted to see how I'll look with curls. And I liked it! Chong likes it too (or what he could see via the webcam) and I think it really makes me look different and more feminine too. The only downside is tt I looked more mature. But I'm so sick of straight hair! And I've decided to perm my hair in Jan. Hah. Look out for a different look next year! (:

I've also fallen in love with Jay (as in Jay Chou / Jielun) after listening to some of his albums and watching him in MVs. I love how some of his songs are so.. melancholy, and meaningful at the same time. Now I'm super looking forward to watching him perform in his concert next year! Heh. And I finally understand how Von was so crazy over him some years back -_-' I'm slow lah. Hah.

11 more days to the Taipei trip;
12 more days to Christmas!
