new toy!

I bought myself a new laptop! (= It's a Toshiba, white/silver and really pretty! Hee. Was at comex yesterday and after 3+ hours of browsing, was still very much undecided on which model to get. And as I was standing ard discussing the pros & cons of the two models [with the boyfriend and my personal IT advisor]; I glanced ard and saw this pretty Toshiba laptop on display.

Caught my eye immediately with the sleek & clean layout; and the price was within budget. The specs are great... and in a matter of 10 mins, the decision was made! Hee. The salesman kept asking me "are you confirm?" "are you double confirm?", and when I said "yes" both times, it made me feel as if I was committing myself to a big decision. -_-" which it can also be considered as, since I'm 2k poorer. Fortunately the m.o.e. t.a is helping me pay for it, else I think I wldn't even have considered getting a new lappy.

And along with the new lappy, I got myself a Spot the Dog! mouse [white with pawprints all over - uber cute!], a yellow Bagman carrier to hold my new precious, and a screen protector. So... all in all it was abt 2.1k. Think might have to just eat bread for the next 2 months. Hah!

Am thinking of getting a sound system to go along with it, then my collection will carry a white theme! Tsk. The things we buy just to prettify the surroundings around us.

The boyfriend then came over and helped me set up - he was my Carrier Man Can for the day! And we tried the in-built webcam shoot function; and the great thing is tt we can add pics & icons to the webcam! So there you have it - a snapshot from my new webcam! (:
