let this be a quick one

Ok I've gotton over the omission/lie that the person I mentioned in the previous post chose to do to me, but that doesn't mean that everything is forgotten. Forgiven, yes, but by no means is it a memory of the past. It wld be good to bring it up sometimes in our conversations - help to keep the person on his/her toes. Haha. Evil.

So its been so long, and there's really just too much to type in prose [and being the long-winded person I am, if I choose to write all in prose, either I'll churn out a 1000-word essay, or just give up halfway due to lack of patience!] So lets just keep it short and sweet, a brief summary so that in future I can look back and reminisce that at least I didn't have too boring a vacation:

- Spent close to 2 mths at my temp company; and on the last day my boss decided tt on top of what the recruitment agency is paying me, he's giving me a $200 bonus for impressive and good performance during my stay. It made everything worthwhile to be appreciated, extra money never hurts! =)

- Received loads of lunch/dinner treats + hongbao + cosmetics/lingerie from my colleagues! They're seriously nice pple, and I will miss them.

- Rebonded my hair at Kimage - free of charge as I was selected to be a "hair model"

- Received a complimentary colouring session as well, and did a technical colour on my hair; I now have a total of 3 different colours on my hair! Free of charge, again *grins*

- Looking forward to a 5d4n trip to Genting/KL with the Boyfriend, with the parents' blessings! Anticipating the shopping and time spent together (:

- Managed to meet up with my Elang girls 3 times over the holidays. Applaud the effort!

- Caught up with da-jie and er-jie too, and time always seem to fly past us whenever we meet, so we should do tt more often.

- Getting the job as a student helper during the Matric Fair 31st - 4th Aug, which translates to more shopping money!

- Having done a lot of retail therapy, and loving it! [duh, who won't?]

- The only damper was having failed my first attempt at the TP driving test, which led to a lot of disappointment in myself, depression that lasted for 2 days, as well as some unshed tears. I had high expectations, others had high expectations too, and I failed them, as well as myself. But I've gotten over it, and the next attempt is coming up end Sep!

Other than that, I'm happy. And thankful. That this holidys have gone well so far. I love my family, the Boyfriend and my friends! *bliss + silly smile*
